Bronzeville Southern Rib Rub

This rib rub combines kosher salt, sugar, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, chiles and sage. The blend reflects recipes brought to Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood by African-American families who migrated from southern states. The seasoning works well on pork ribs, grilled meats and roasted vegetables.

This product suits home cooks who enjoy barbecue with regional American flavors and visitors seeking Chicago-inspired food gifts. It comes in a sealed container for pantry storage and makes a fitting gift for food enthusiasts and home chefs who appreciate historic culinary traditions.

The item is available at Souvenir City Chicago, located two blocks from Navy Pier. The shop ships anywhere in the US and offers bulk ordering for groups and events.
